INFORMATION FOR DATA SUBJECTS

DAKO-CZ, A.S., Company ID: 46505091, with its registered office at Josefa Daňka 1956, 538 43 Třemošnice, (hereinafter referred to as “DAKO-CZ”), in the course of its business activities, processes personal data. The processing of personal data by DAKO-CZ is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”), as well as other legal regulations governing the protection of personal data.


HOW DOES DAKO-CZ PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data are always processed only to the extent necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are processed. DAKO-CZ requests from the data subject only those personal data that are relevant with regard to the purpose of processing. The principle of processing only relevant personal data and the principle of processing personal data only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose are also observed by DAKO-CZ in cases where personal data have not been obtained directly from the data subject.

Personal data are processed with sufficient care to prevent inaccuracies. Personal data are processed only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are processed. During the processing of personal data, appropriate security measures are applied, including both physical protection and information technology measures, as well as adequate organizational measures.

Browsing the DAKO-CZ website does not involve the processing of personal data.


FOR WHAT PURPOSES ARE PERSONAL DATA USED?

Personal data are most often processed by DAKO-CZ for the purposes of fulfilling a contract and for complying with a legal obligation imposed on DAKO-CZ. Personal data are also processed based on the consent of the data subject. DAKO-CZ may also process personal data for the purposes of its legitimate interests.


FROM WHOM ARE PERSONAL DATA OBTAINED?

Personal data are primarily obtained directly from the data subjects, and to a lesser extent from other entities, such as sales representatives or business partners. Personal data may also be obtained from public registers, such as the commercial register.


WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE DATA SUBJECT HAVE IN RELATION TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION?

The data subject has the following rights, in particular:

  • the right to withdraw consent at any time,

  • the right to rectify or supplement personal data,

  • the right to request the restriction of processing,

  • the right to object or lodge a complaint,

  • the right to data portability,

  • the right to access personal data,

  • the right to be informed of a personal data breach in certain cases,

  • the right to erasure of personal data (the “right to be forgotten”).


HOW LONG ARE PERSONAL DATA RETAINED?

Personal data are retained only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were processed. The retention periods are governed by legal regulations and DAKO-CZ internal regulations (especially the internal data protection directive). Upon written request, internal regulations may be made available to the data subject for inspection at the DAKO-CZ office at Josefa Daňka 1956, 538 43 Třemošnice.


WITH WHOM MAY PERSONAL DATA BE SHARED?

Recipients of personal data may include our external collaborators who have provided sufficient guarantees for the protection of personal data.


IS PERSONAL DATA TRANSFERRED TO THIRD COUNTRIES?

Personal data are not transferred to third countries or international organizations.


IS IT POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA?

DAKO-CZ will provide a copy of processed personal data upon request of the data subject whose personal data have been processed. For additional copies, DAKO-CZ may charge a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs. If the data subject submits a request electronically, the information will also be provided in a commonly used electronic form, unless the data subject requests otherwise. The information is provided without undue delay and in any case within one calendar month of receiving the request.
